As the Founder and Director of Marine Spatial Information Solutions (MarSIS), I’ve built a career around one central mission: to empower people to use technology including drones & GIS together with participatory approaches to make data-driven, real-world impact.
Through my Training Academy, I’ve taught thousands of individuals and numerous organizations how to safely & professionally operate drones, to conduct drone inspections and mapping surveys, and collect accurate environmental data, analyze information and share their results to support agriculture, fisheries, conservation, disaster management and a number of other applications.
